Your Questions, Answered
-
Yes, an initial assessment is required before beginning individual sessions. Bridgeway offers three tiers to choose from: Screening, Discovery, and Comprehensive. The screening is the most affordable option and gives a quick look at your child's reading level and where challenges arise — enough information to get sessions underway right away.
-
Not at all. Bridgeway supports children with a wide range of needs, no diagnosis necessary. Whether your child is facing obstacles in learning, building friendships, or managing their emotions, Bridgeway is here to help.
-
Ask yourself a few questions:
Does your child have trouble sitting through circle time?
Do they find it hard to stay focused in a classroom setting?
Has making or keeping friends been a challenge?
Do strong emotions interfere with their social interactions?
Are they having difficulty learning letters or early reading skills?
Have large preschool or VPK class sizes been overwhelming?
Does your child thrive with extra sensory input and movement?
Have they ever been asked to leave a camp due to behavioral concerns?
Is your child behind in reading for their grade level?
Has homework become a source of daily meltdowns?
Are you concerned about delayed speech?
Are you looking for social opportunities for your toddler?
If any of these sound familiar, Bridgeway may be a wonderful fit for your family! We take a warm, child-centered approach using multi-sensory, evidence-based instruction in small-group settings for children ages 18 months through 5th grade.

Bridge to Kindergarten is not a VPK equivalent, but it is a meaningful alternative educational option for children in the Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten, and even 1st grade years. Every child's learning journey looks different — some are taking an extra year before kindergarten, some are in hybrid or homeschool settings needing reading support, some show early signs of dyslexia, some need more personalized emotional support, and some have sensory needs that traditional preschool programs aren't equipped to accommodate. Bridge to Kindergarten is designed to be a safe, supportive space for all of these children, ages 3–6.
